At the shopping street you will find more than 150 shops, and 50 restaurants and cafés.

On raceday part of the run course will be staged here and the finish line is placed on the middle of the shopping street at Torvet (City Square).

You will find 80 shops, and several restaurants and cafés at the mall.

Want to enjoy a cold beer or show off your skills on the dance floor? The nightlife in Herning offers both and a lot more.

You can find pubs, discos, and nightclubs in the city centre. The majority of these are located near each other on Østergade.

We would recommend a visit at Baren where the official after party for Garmin Challenge Herning will take place. Baren is located at Østergade 11.

Do you enjoy museums, theme parks, or a walk in beautiful surroundings?

A stroll down the shopping street will bring you past The Seated Woman and Column. You’ll also find Herning Library where you can read a book or todays paper while enjoying a refreshment from the library café.

You can experience world-class art in Birk Centerpark at HEART – Herning Museum of Contemporary Art and Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelts Museum. Ingvar Cronhammer’s sculpture Elia can also be found in Birk Centerpark.
